I am Swetha Mary Saji working as a Volunteer in many organizations. I worked as a Volunteer, Team Leader, Executive Committee Member, Teacher, COVID-19 Vaccination duty, COVID-19 data entry operations in various locations, Railway evacuation project, COVID-19 Control Room duty under DDMA. My greatest achievement is my self development. I was able to bring smiles to different persons.


VOLUNTEERING FOR ME

Volunteering is something which helps me to relax my mind. I love helping others. The smile ok others face is my greatest inspiration. For me volunteering is an act of spreading happiness.

VOLUNTEERING JOURNEY

My first volunteering experience was during 2018 Flood. I have been an active volunteer under the Thiruvananthapuram district administration. I was an active volunteer in Mahanvami Mission 2019. I was the team leader of Attukal Pongala Mission 2020 under DDMA TVM. Then I worked as a volunteer in Trivandrum Domestic Airport for the COVID duty 2020 under DMO. Then I worked as a volunteer in vaccination duty at mega vaccination drive at Jimmy George Indoor Stadium, Trivandrum. Then I worked in DPMSU TVM COVID control Room. It was a wonderful experience for me.

MISSION & VISSION

It was a flood relief work. I worked as a volunteer in the collection location, Cotton hill School, TVM. We packed all the food materials, dresses, water etc, and we loaded it in the lorry and sent it to the people in various locations around Kerala


PROJECT DESCRIPTION

It was a flood relief operation work during the Kerala Floods 2018. We packed the food, dress, water etc in separate boxes and sealed it. We packed the dress for males and females separately and loaded it in the lorries. These boxes were sent to the different relief camps around Kerala. I worked in the Collection centre operating at Cotton Hill School, TVM and around 2000-3000 volunteers were engaged in this duty. I was able to make a lot of friends from this duty. Extremely happy to be a part of the team.
