It was a flood relief work. I worked as a volunteer in the collection location, Cotton hill School, TVM. We packed all the food materials, dresses, water etc, and we loaded it in the lorry and sent it to the people in various locations around Kerala

It was a flood relief operation work during the Kerala Floods 2018. We packed the food, dress, water etc in separate boxes and sealed it. We packed the dress for males and females separately and loaded it in the lorries. These boxes were sent to the different relief camps around Kerala. I worked in the Collection centre operating at Cotton Hill School, TVM and around 2000-3000 volunteers were engaged in this duty. I was able to make a lot of friends from this duty. Extremely happy to be a part of the team.

50-60 hours

I worked as a Volunteer. My duty was to segregate the products and to pack it and to load it in the lorries. I worked for around 50-60 hours in the camp for a duration of 4 days. My family was against my act of volunteering in these collection centres, but later they accepted me. This operation helped in my self development, and I was able to communicate to a lot of people of different age groups and now also I am able to maintain the friendship with them. I am good at packing the materials, and I was able to do that in a good manner.
