My name is Saeed khan. I am 19 year's old. and I was born in Rafi Nagar II. This community has grown on the proximity of the Deonar Dumping Ground, with all the social and sanitary problems related to it. When the dumping was closed to external entry, the livelihoods of local people got even more compromised. The social and economic problems are the cause for a big number of children to abandon school. The local municipal school goes only up to 8th standard and many of them, mostly girls, are not allowed to go outside the community to study. I have been a student myself in this community and I have experienced the difficulty to get proper education in these conditions. For this reason, I have participated at the activities of Teach for India since my 5th standard. During those years, I have started playing Australian football, reaching the post of chapitain of Maharashtra's team in 2018. Presently, I am pursuing B.A. in Dr. Baba S. Ambedkar College (Chembur). My passion for football and my desire to do something for my neighbourhood pushed me to start a social initiative. A nearby public ground was the space required that the slum could not provide. There I started Govandi Footi Club, an initiative that gathered nearby 130 boys and girls, many of them school dropouts and pray to the local criminality. The sport was a starting point to bring them to the classroom, where the real change could be done. Now we have a group of 42 youth from the community, divided in roles to manage this small school that counts with 550 students compressed in 12 small classrooms, built by us in spaces taken from the homes of some of us. What was only a dream started becoming reality and a new way of thinking that we are proposing to the community. Think New is the NGO that we want to register. We are searching for support and sponsorship to improve and professionalize our services.....

Pichle 5 salo se mai hamare area me volunteering kar raha hu ...eak aisa manjar mere aakhoke samne aaya jaha kuch mahilaye apna jism ka sauda kar rahe the apne aur apne pet ke liye.. us wakt to mujhe Bahut bura laga tha . Magar jab maine unse baat kiya to wo mujhe batane lage ... Ki agar ghar ka rent . Khane ke liye ration . Baccho ki fees aur light ka bill hota . Ya fir koi mehnat wala kaam hota .to hume majbooran apna jism nahi bechna padta ... I was crying on that day.. khud ko rone se rok nahi paaraha tha mai . Us wakt se decide kiya. Tab se aaj tak logo ki help karte aaraha hu

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Slum area me alag alag jagah pe 12 class start kiya gaya hai .. jis class me 2 teacher hai aur maximum 50 bacche hai . Week me eak baat unke liye motivational movie dikhana padta hai. Unke lliye note start kiya gaya hai jo har 3 month me market lagta hai . Jisme un baccho ko note use karna padta hai . 42 volunteers hai . Jo sabhi class ko maintain karte hai. Sabhi baccho ko kisi na kisi NGO ki madat se feel trip leke jate hai ... Agar hume support Mile to hum bahut jada hi improve kar sakte hai....

Koi bhi date humne setup nahi kiya hai . Pichle 5 salo se baccho ko padha rahe hai . Area me work kar rahe hai. 6 to 9 class start rehta hai baki sabhi time me bacche own study karte hai . 5 hours hum ground pe rehte hai ... Bina koi profit ke .. aur aage bhi karte rahenge.jabtak sabhi logo tak education pahuch na jaye....
ROLE IN PROJECT
In this project .. mai founder hu think new foundation ka sab plan mai aur 10 log jo meri team hai hum mil ke plan karte hai..
Mai national level pe AFL khela hu jo baccho ko bhi sikhata hu . baccho ko mai khud bhi padhata hu..
IMPACT OF PROJECT
Community ko abhi tak hume ration sabhi logo ko provide kiya with the help off different different NGOs aur hume 600 se bhi jayada baccho ko sambhal ke rahe hai ..jinki jindagi sirf nashe me crime me hi gujar rahi thi. Unki life me kuch nahi tha magar hume eak nahi roshni unke jindagi me dikhai aur unko udna sikhaya .. aage bhi hum karte rahenge

Abhi tak humne 102 Drop-out baccho ko school me admission karake apne paas padha ke 10 paas karaya aaj wo 12 ya 13 me honge ..hamare 18 bacche Maharashtra team ke liye khelte hai Australian football.. humne abhi tak ka 650 se bhi jayde baccho ko sambhal ke rakhe hai .. isliye ki wo nasha aur crime na kare...
FUTURE PLANS
I don't think .. magar mai meri life me try karta rahunga .. kehte hai na heere ki pehchan eak Johri ko hoti hai . Koi na koi pehchaan lena ..mujhe hope hai.
