I am Godha Pranay Jain. I am born and brought up at Garla, Khammam, Telangana. I am B.tech Graduate. Currently, I am pursuing M.A Sociology from IGNOU and also preparing for UPSC Civil Service Exam. I am Founder and President of Socialised Society Servant. I am also working as a Teacher in Private Organisation.

VOLUNTEERING FOR ME Volunteering to me mean, to give our wholehearted service to other living being. Here, living being included -- Humans, Plant Species and Animal Species too. Volunteering mean to impart our knowledge, our skills, and also our wealth and anything that we possess, for benefiting others, without expecting anything in return. Volunteering mean to nurture others.

VOLUNTEERING JOURNEY I have been into volunteering since 2019. I strongly believe that volunteering is my passion. The prime reason being that - making others smile, makes me happy. It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction, when someone is happy because of me. I also do volunteer, to learn more things about ground reality and gain real-time experience.

When it comes to inspiration, "SEEING OTHER GROW AND SMILE" leads me towards volunteering.

VOLUNTEERING STORY I am Founder and President of Socialised Society Servant. I have started this organisation (Non-Profit), on March 17, 2019. Since then we have conducted various events and campaigns.

The Prime Objective of our Organisation is three-pronged.

  • The prominent one being to impart Value Education to the young generation.

  • We believe in “working for a cause”, ranging from Environmental Issues, to Social Issues like Gender Equality, Care for Old Age and Elderly and also to Political Issues.

  • We work in collaboration with other NGO’s as well. We solicit their support and help, in organizing any event and also extend our helping hands to them whenever needed.

The Principle on which we work is – “Socialism, Secularism and Sacrifice”

So, through SSS, we have organized various programs. (All the details of our events are shared in our Social Media Handle).

  • Book Donation Drive is one prominent event that we have conducted.

  • Apart from that, we have conduct online campaign on – “Clean Your Email – Save Our Environment”.

  • We also have set up – “Wall of Kindness”. Wall of Kindness is a place to connect Donor and Done.

Apart from this, I have also worked for E-Vidyaloka, as a Volunteer Teacher. I have worked from June 2019 to March 2020. I have imparted almost 300+ Child Learning Hours. This has created a positive impact to 10 Students studying in rural Govt. School. I worked as online volunteer for VFORCE-UNV. This helped me to understand the importance of Sustainable Development Goals and also made me realize how we humans are united globally as one village. This volunteering experience helped me to enhance my perspective and made me think at a large scale and to think bigger picture. I also worked as a Online Lead Community Trainer for Volunteer For India (VFI) in the month of August of 2020. Volunteering for VFI was a great learning for me. It helped me to learn more about myself and also helped me to improve my skills related to online technologies. I am a member of United By Souls. United By souls is a Youth Forum of all the Youth Parliamentarians. This Forum was created in 2019, but as a team we started to work together on ground and on online platforms, since this year, i.e., 2021. I am also an online volunteer for “Youth Against Rape” and for “Vrikshit Foundation.”

PROJECT Imparting Academic Education to Rural Children. ORGANISATION E-Vidyaloka MISSION & VISION E-Vidyaloka is a not-for-profit organisation that focuses on transforming the educational landscape of rural India. This organisation works for to enable quality in education for most deserving children of remote and rural villages of India.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION I was supposed to impart academic education through online medium, i.e., SKYPE. This project is supposed to continue for one academic year. I was the sole volunteer in the project. It was an enriching experience to engage and interact with the children and teach them. So, From June 2019 to March 2020, I have engaged in volunteering for e-Vidyaloka. This was discontinued because of the pandemic, which was unprecedented.

LENGTH OF SERVICE I imparted my Volunteering Service for almost 300+ hours. ROLE IN PROJECT My role was to teach to School Students of Class 8. I could utilise this opportunity to give my best by providing them not just academic knowledge, but also the additional knowledge related to the subject. This project helped me to improve my technical knowledge and also helped me to realise my potential as well.

IMPACT OF PROJECT The positive impact that this project could create was, that, the children could get a teacher, despite being miles away and they were imparted the right education. So, I believe this is one of the ways to bring transformation in education sector. I would help e-Vidyaloka in all ways possible, whenever they solicit my help and efforts. I am connected with e-vidyaloka even today and follow their updates as well.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

  • GOAL 4: Quality Education

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • I represented my district as a delegate in National Youth Parliament Festival – 2019.

FUTURE PLANS I plan and envision to set a school to impart Value Education. I want to promote and propagate environment-friendly products and contribute from myself to conserve our mother nature. I eagerly look forward to work for various social issues in domains of gender equality and women empowerment. We as organisation also wish to work for Specially abled in our own way. ISV & TGF can help me and our organisation in providing us the resources and also by letting us know various ways and methods in reaching our targets.
